Build Home Training

NIFA’s Build Home Program supports eligible buyers who are building a new home rather than purchasing an existing one. The program allows qualified borrowers to lock in a NIFA interest rate for up to 180 days during construction, helping protect against rate changes over longer build timelines.

Build Home is offered through NIFA’s existing First Home and Welcome Home programs and follows the same income and purchase price limits. Down payment assistance may also be available for eligible borrowers.
